If you’re looking to buy a smart ring, you’ve previously had to hope your ring size is 13 or below. All the major manufacturers of smart rings currently offer up to size 13, but one company has confirmed to Android Police that it is working on offering size 14 and 15 rings, with a release expected in early 2025.
That smart ring company is Circular, with its Slim Ring, which competes with bigger names like Oura and the newer Samsung Galaxy Ring. The Slim Ring will soon be available in sizes 6 through 15 once the company updates its manufacturing operations, which they aim to complete by early 2025. Could this be the next battleground for smart rings?
This news follows rumors from last week that Samsung will also soon offer sizes 14 and 15 for its Galaxy Ring. According to a report from leaker Max Jambor, Samsung is set to launch the new sizes "in the coming weeks." If Jambor's report is accurate, Samsung may beat Circular to market with these larger sizing options.
Oura and Circular have previously offered sizes 6 through 13, with Samsung adding an extra size five option. As smart rings become more popular and mainstream, it’s clear that manufacturers are keen to offer larger sizes for those outside the average US ring size. However, so far, none of these companies have hinted at offering rings smaller than size five.
